If there is one game we can’t wait to play, it has to be CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077, and, thanks to some brand new gameplay footage, that hype is set to increase exponentially.
The 14-minutes of brand new Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay footage shows off just how the game will allow players to mould their character as they see fit and take on missions in whichever way they want.
The footage is the same that was shown behind closed doors during E3 this year. It shows off two character paths a player can take when tackling the game’s various missions.
One is the Solo character, who basically solves their problems with their fists and copious amounts of bullets. If ripping off turrets and using them on your enemies seems like your kind of thing then this is the character for you.
On the other hand, we also get to see the Netrunner character in action. This means less punching and more sneaking and hacking.
Along with being introduced to these two character paths, we also get to see two of the Cyberpunk 2077 gangs, the Voodoo and the Animals.
The Voodoo is a tech-savvy gang. The Animals prefer speed and strength above everything else.
The footage shows off a mission involving uncovering some information for the Voodoo gang about their motal enemies. As expected, it’s a dangerous mission, one which involves hacking, shooting and punching (depending on which path you chooses to take).
Judging by Cyberpunk 2077‘s gameplay, CD Project Red may have a winner on their hands. We can’t wait to step into the neon-drenched streets of Night City when the game finally releases on the 16th of April 2020.
