Ok, my charnas, it’s almost time to get ready to beat up some okes. The proudly South African beat-em-up Boet Fighter is releasing soon.
The brand spanking new Boet Fighter trailer introduces us to protagonists, Hard Eddy and Modise “Mod-C” Cele, as they set out to find Hard Eddy’s missing girlfriend. As you would expect, this leads to loads of laugh out loud moments, flying fists (and possibly beer cans) and, of course, flippin’ awesome one-liners.
The game is being developed by Cali4ways Games who are proudly South African. This is the studio’s first game and, judging from the lekker trailer, the game seems on track to be and friggin’ awesome jol. The game is up on Steam already. So, if this seems like your cup of tea (or glass of Brandy and Coke), then add it to your wishlist.
The South African game developers scene is growing every year with more and more indie titles developed locally. We recently even had an interview with another local group of guys developing an awesome looking new game called Akromah’s Tale. Of course it’s great to see games like Boet Fighter getting loads of media attention.
Looks crap.
