The story of Pact of Silence follows the life of Brenda Rey, a popular and highly successful social media influencer who had more than a rough start in life. Brenda was abandoned in a shack at birth. She grew up homeless, having to raise herself and work hard for everything that she had and suffering sexual abuse along the way.
Now fully grown and having made something of herself, her only quest is for revenge and to find out which of the four girls at a private school was her mother and what their headmistress knew about the situation. Fully intent on figuring out the mystery for herself, Brenda infiltrates the lives of the four friends, who are now all grown up as well, all in the name of uncovering why she was left there.
Thankfully, her connections and resources are more numerous than people could even dream of, thanks to her success as an influencer, meaning that she has enough money at her fingertips to make a miracle happen. She is dead set on using it to take revenge on the woman who ruined her life before it had even started.

Since being released on October 11th, Pact of Silence has maintained a place in the Netflix Tudum Top 10 category for Non-English TV series for the last three weeks, starting out in 5th place, jumping up to 2nd place and then falling back down to 4th place in this latest week on record (which is October 23rd to October 29th). While views and hours viewed have gone up and down, in the last three weeks, the series has accumulated 157.6 million hours viewed and 13.1 million views.
Fans on X(Twitter) have been talking about how the non-English series is a binge-worthy series that has attracted fans who wouldn’t even conventionally be fans of Netflix and its streaming platform. We will see if the claims that fans can’t get enough prove true going into further weeks and how the ranking fares.
The audience knows more about this than the critics at Rotten Tomatoes, as the series doesn’t even have enough reviews to have a ranking on the site yet, other than the very divided 55% score from audiences. It could be that the fans who are in love with the series and bringing it over on Netflix are voicing their opinions on social media platforms rather than on traditional dating sites like IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes; however, until there are more reviews, we won’t know what the general public thinks beyond the hype over on X.
