NECA has unveiled their latest figures based on the 2018 God of War game. The 2-pack features the God of War himself, Kratos, and his son Atreus.
Although NECA has previously released a Kratos figurine, the new figure has a few noticeable changes. For starters, the Ghost of Sparta figure has a much less ghostly complexion than the first figure, which seems to resemble more of what we see in the game. The figure also sports the Blades of Chaos’ chains wrapped around his forearms, which was missing from the first figure, along with brandishing his signature axe.
Another great little addition is the head of Mimir, which now hangs from his waist instead of the horn. Of course, the figure also comes with a load of extras, such as the standard and upgraded Blades of Choas, a shield, some flame and ice effects for both his weapons and a new more aggressive interchangeable head sculpt.
The all-new Atreus figure, on the other hand, comes with a bow and arrow. It also has over 25 points of articulation.
The figures come packaged in a display friendly box which has two opening flaps that reveal each of the figures.
The God of War 2-pack should be available for purchase within the next few weeks. Both figures are highly detailed and would make a great addition to any collection, and is a must for fans of the franchise.
