Get those fingers warmed up for the next battle royale action. MSI, Redragon, Antec, Crucial and ACGL have joined forces for another year of gaming action for the Mythic Royale 2022.
The tournament brings battle royale matches for two favourites, Fortnite and Apex Legends.
Over the course of the year, entrants will compete via a series of qualifiers. Each will then earn their spot in the cash final per game. A total of R150,000 will be allocated to the rotating Apex Legends and Fortnite series.
The cash series will launch in a guaranteed prize pool. This can then be boosted by achieving a number of community goals throughout the qualifying and final rounds. The higher the number of community goals achieved per series, the higher the total prize pool.
Each community goal brings with it an additional R2,500 cash prize, which will be added to the overall prize pool. Examples of these community goals include 100 concurrent streams for a match broadcast, a social media reach above 750,000 and more.
Both competitors and supporters will have opportunities to win their share of an additional R35,000, in the form of product prizes each month. These giveaways will be offered through the Loot system on the ACGL website, as well as via social media channels. So, stay tuned and get involved throughout the year to stand a chance to win fantastic prizes.
In order to enter these Loot giveaways, users will require Embers. These are rewarded for every match completed on the ACGL site. The more you enter, the higher your chances of winning.
Get Ready for Battle
Get your entries in with registration now open for the Apex Legends series. This series features a guaranteed R15,000 prize pool, with the potential of an additional R10,000 from the community goals.
The tournament begins on 9 April 2022 and will run through to 30 April. Apex Legends trios can compete in one of the weekly qualifying events. The final for the series will be held on 7 May 2022. This event will see the top five teams from the four qualifiers duking it out for their share of the prize pool.
The Fortnite battle royale will begin thereafter on 15 May 2022. A number of short-form cash cups will be available to compete in. This will have a total of R3,000 cash up for grabs.
