Lionsgate has released the second trailer for their upcoming film based on the 80s toy phenomenon. My Little Pony: The Movie is a very ‘different’ kind of hero story. Things aren’t so hunky-dory in Ponyville.
The movie will reunite the voice cast of the animated series to play the Mane 6, Twilight Sparkle (Tara Strong), Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity, but also adds several A-List celebrities, including Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Zoe Saldana and Edge of Tomorrow‘s Emily Blunt, to the cast list.
A new dark force threatens Ponyville, and the Mane 6 – Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity – embark on an unforgettable journey beyond Equestria where they meet new friends and exciting challenges on a quest to use the magic of friendship to save their home.
