Universal Pictures dropped the first eerie trailer for its Halloween reboot/continuation, ignoring decades of continuity in order for the characters to return to their roots. Michael Myers is coming… again. But this time, Laurie Strode means business.
The film is directed by David Gordon Green, who directed Pineapple Express and Stronger. John Carpenter serves as the reboot’s executive producer, along with horror movie maestro Jason Blum.
Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.
