It was announced by 2K that actor Michael B. Jordan would be starring alongside the player in NBA 2K17’s MyCareer story mode.
NBA 2K17’s MyCareer story mode will be focusing on the friendship between the player character and Justice young (Michael B. Jordan), a rising star in the NBA. Jordan has been a huge fan of the franchise and feels privileged to be part of it.
“I’m humbled at the opportunity to help influence a franchise that I’ve been a passionate fan of since its first release,”
Not only did Jordan do voice work for the character, he also did some motion capture work for the game. NBA 2K17’s MyCareer mode also features other recognizable actors such as Matt Walsh, as your college coach, Hemsley Adson and Hannibal Buress as a barber called Ice.
NBA 2K17 will be releasing on the 16th of September 2016 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
