When the Batman Arkham series released, it proved that superhero games can indeed be great. Batman: Arkham City became one of the best selling superhero games of all time and it has stayed that way, until now. That honour has now been bestowed upon Marvel’s Spider-Man, a game which was exclusive to Sony’s PlayStation 4.
Previously recognised by sales tracking firm NPD as one of the fastest-selling superhero games ever, Marvel’s Spider-Man has now been announced as the best selling superhero game to date.
Batman: Arkham City comfortably sat on top of the list for quite some time but, after just 10 months, old web-head managed to kick the Dark Knight off the top place.
It’s time for #ComicCon2019!
Video Games are a huge part of the Comic landscape.

The question now is whether or not Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics’ superhero game Marvel’s Avengers will break the same records? With ComicCon 2019 in full swing hopefully, we will see some more of the game revealed, let’s hope Marvel can keep the momentum going and give us yet another great superhero gaming experience.
Well done, Spidey.
