During the recent Nintendo Direct, Nintendo showcased some gameplay from the upcoming and highly anticipated Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, revealing some of the superheroes players will be able to add to their team.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is being developed by Team Ninja, the team behind the Ninja Gaiden series, and sees your own hand-picked team of superheroes going up against Thanos and the Black Order.
Players will be able to choose superheroes from popular teams such as The X-Men, The Avengers, The Defenders, and even The Guardians of the Galaxy. Various heroes including Star-Lord, Captain America, Hulk, Spider-man and Groot will make appearances. Each hero will have various special attacks, including a very powerful Ultimate Alliance Extreme attack which seems to be able to wipe out hordes of enemies with ease.
The game will include, online multiplayer, four-player local co-op (when connecting four Switch consoles to each other) and, our personal favourite feature, local couch co-op.
The original game released way back in 2006 on the PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is set to release exclusively for the Nintendo Switch later this year.
Grab your spandex and get ready to take on Thanos once again.
