Avengers: Infinity War was the biggest superhero movie of all time. But all signs suggest that Avengers 4 (still untitled) will be even bigger and more spectacular. In recent months we’ve heard a lot about what’s to come in the sequel – whether that’s come in the form of rumours, spoilers, leaks, or confirmed details from Marvel.
The leaked Avengers 4 set photos have already revealed that Iron Man will reunite with Captain America and Bruce Banner. The photos also suggested that the film will recreate the iconic Battle of New York from The Avengers. Chris Evans, spotted on set in his costume from the 2012 movie, added to the theory.
Now, a new set interview featuring Robert Downey Jr. has revealed that he will cross paths with Shuri in Wakanda.
The background against which Downey is giving the interview is the same as Shuri’s lab, as seen in Infinity War.
While the Black Panther/ Iron Man crossover is still speculation, the Russo Brothers have confirmed that Wakanda will continue to be an important part in Avengers 4.
“Black Panther as a character has tremendous potential in the Marvel Cinematic Universe,” said Joe Russo in a recent interview. “And I think Wakanda is essential to whatever may happen post Avengers: Infinity War, to how the world may deal with what has happened to them”.
