The latest Marvel’s Avengers War Table stream focused on what players can expect from the game’s upcoming beta.
Firstly, it was revealed that the beta will contain the Golden Gate Bridge demo that was showcased at E3, with players expected to spend about 25 minutes to finish it.
Once this mission is finished, the beta will open up a bit more allowing players to take part in two hero missions featuring Hulk and Ms Marvel.
Along with the single-player content, the beta will also include stages that are playable with friends or A.I partners.
The characters available to choose from include Hulk, Ms Marvel, Iron Man and Black Widow.
There will be three stages available:
- War Zones – which sees players taking on big threats from around the globe and will include environmental puzzles to solve in between bashing enemies.
- HARM Rooms – training rooms which will test you and your team to the fullest as you try to survive each wave of enemies.
- Drop Zone Missions – which are smaller more condensed versions of War Zones, letting players get into the action quickly.
PlayStation 4 players who pre-ordered Marvel’s Avengers can join the beta on the 7th of August, while those that pre-ordered the game on PC and Xbox One can start playing from the 14th of August.
Square Enix also revealed in a new trailer that Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye, would be joining the game post-launch.
