Ubisoft has released a new live-action trailer for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Origins which features loads of backstabbing, and assassinations.
According to Ubisoft, the trailer included some 200 extras to help populate the city in which the trailer takes place. It sees protagonist Bayek explaining how an assassin should strike at their target, interspersed are clips of targets being assassinated in various ways, including the classic poisonous snake in the bed method.
With the franchise making a return after a short break, the latest entry promises to be familiar yet fresh and includes a new combat system and more refined RPG elements. From what we’ve seen and played, the game seems to be a step in the right direction and we can’t wait to explore the wonders of Egypt further.
Assassin’s Creed Origins is set for releases in October 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
