While everyone might be super excited to see the highly anticipated film Suicide Squad starring Jared Leto as Joker next month, Lindsay Lohan isn’t interested in seeing it at all.
In a deleted Instagram post, the Mean Girls actress explained that she doesn’t want people to watch the film on the grounds that it’s “hurting people” rather than “helping the world”. She shared a collage of images on Instagram honouring The Crow’s Brandon Lee — and draws comparisons to Leto’s Joker. Also among the images was Heath Ledger and Jack Nicholson.
The caption (a quote from The Crow) read: “Who wore it better? Who based his whole music and film career on the film, The Crow? “Every man’s got a devil, and you can’t rest until you find him”‘
The caption continued with: “a suicide squad movie is not helping the world but hurting people. Anger is not an answer for peace. #love #turnup #beherenow#lovenotwar”
I’m almost certain comic book fans won’t care too much about Lindsay Lohan’s rant.
Suicide Squad has an August 5, 2016 release date directed by David Ayer starring Will Smith as Deadshot, Jared Leto as the Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Adam Beach as Slipknot, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo, and Scott Eastwood in an unknown role.
