Many were crushed by the news that development on Disney’s toys-to-life game, Disney Infinity, was ending. Now, LEGO Dimensions is following suit with the news that WB Interactive and TT Games will be ending development on the title soon.
The news comes via an official statement posted on Twitter in which WB Interactive and TT Games stated that, although there will be ongoing support for the game, after careful consideration it was decided to end development and cease the production of new expansion packs:
From building and rebuilding to the most bricktacular mash-ups, the Multiverse would be nothing without our amazing community. Thank you. pic.twitter.com/NEDbBXqjyZ

Even though the game entered the toys-to-life market at a relatively late stage, it still managed to leave its mark. What made LEGO Dimensions so special when it released was that it covered a myriad of properties from Scooby Doo to Lord of the Rings and even gave us some 80’s nostalgia with expansion packs featuring the A-Team and Knight Rider.
LEGO Dimensions you will be missed. Go grab some more expansion packs before they are gone forever.
