Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for its upcoming narrative-driven adventure game 11-11: Memories Retold.
The latest 11-11: Memories Retold trailer reveals more about the game’s characters, specifically the main protagonists Kurt and Harry. The game is set during World War I with Kurt (voiced by Sebastian Koch), a Germain soldier on the front lines looking for his missing son in the trenches, and Harry (voiced by Elijah Wood), a Canadian photographer who discovers the horrors of war firsthand on the battlefield. The focus on a narrative-driven story and the World War I setting means that the game will most probably ensure some emotional and tense moments. While quite a few games have been set during this period, it’s the game’s almost painting-like visuals that make it stand out from the grey and brown World War I games out there. It comes across as playing inside an actual painting. It’s quite a risky move as these visuals might not be to everyone’s taste, although we like it a lot.
We are interested in seeing more of the game as it nears its release in November 2018. 11-11: Memories Retold will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
