Hideo Kojima has released yet another trailer for his enigmatic Death Stranding game at The Tokyo Game Show 2018.
The latest trailer for Kojima’s Death Stranding introduces us to Troy Baker’s (Uncharted, Infamous Second Son) character. That’s right, Kojima has added yet another shining star to the already star-studded cast that features among others Norman Reedus, Léa Seydoux, Mads Mikkelsen, and Guillermo Del Toro.
Baker’s character seems to be the strangest and most mysterious of the bunch, wearing a golden skull mask and seemingly having the ability to summon huge black shadow monster creatures. He also seems to be the antagonist of the game, although this was not confirmed.
While the trailer is just as cryptic as the previous ones Kojima has released, it does look gorgeous. One question remains though, will we be facing off against this giant beast, and are there more?
Unfortunately, we still don’t know much about this mysterious game as Kojima has been very cryptic about it in interviews. And while many might see this as Kojima just being Kojima, there have been those who have started to question the secrecy and wondering if it wouldn’t be more beneficial to the game (and hype surrounding it) if he revealed just a bit more about it.
We are hoping to see more of the game in the near future and, who knows, maybe Kojima will reveal more substantial information about the game. Until then, we just have to continue to guess what exactly Death Stranding will be when it finally releases.
