The Story
Directed by Ric Roman Waugh (Greenland and Angel Has Fallen), Kandahar is an upcoming action thriller set to release on 26 May 2023. The Gerard Butler film tells the story of a CIA Ops agent Tom Hams, an agent deep in enemy territory on a special mission. Once the details of his mission are exposed by a whistle-blower, Hams and his interpreter have to make their way out of the territory with enemies on all sides and get to their extraction point in Kandahar. With the hostiles from Afghanistan against them and the threat of foreign spies, we get to follow them on their thrilling and action-filled journey.

Official Synopsis: In KANDAHAR, Tom Hams (Gerard Butler), an undercover CIA operative, is stuck deep in hostile territory in Afghanistan. After his mission is exposed, he must fight his way out, alongside his Afghan translator, to an extraction point in Kandahar, all whilst avoiding elite enemy forces and foreign spies tasked with hunting them down.
