Jim Carrey as Joker?
For a while now, fans have suggested that Jim Carrey would make a great Joker in a live-action Batman film. Many feel that the comedian was wrongfully cast as The Riddler in Batman Forever and his acting would better suit the Clown Prince of Crime.
With that idea in mind, Youtuber Muhammad XAchraf has made two great deepfake videos replacing Joaquin Phoenix with Jim Carrey in the role of Arthur Fleck.
The results are fantastic and prove that the Ace Ventura star could be just as chilling in the role.

Over the last year, we’ve seen various deepfake videos where actor’s faces are replaced with others. These videos are by far some of the more interesting ones.
Superimposed on the Fleck, we get to see the true potential of Jim Carrey as Joker – who usually known for his comedic roles but somehow fits the story and tone perfectly.
In the first video, we see Arthur Fleck talking to social worker Debra Kane. Carey’s movements and facial expressions are incredibly eerie. It’s unsettling to watch him as stares at us through the lens.

There are rumours that Matt Reeves is currently on the lookout for a Joker for his The Batman trilogy. Could Jim Carrey be suited to play the icon villain too?
Carrey is a really great actor and has an impressive body of work, which includes serious roles in films like Dark Crimes, The Number 23 and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
And, no, even at 58, he isn’t too old to take on a role like this.
Todd Phillips’ Joker was a smash hit and gave Phoenix a platform to win the Best Actor award at the Oscars earlier this year.
