Bethesda Softworks has released a new gameplay trailer for their over-the-top post-apocalyptic first-person shooter, Rage 2.
The Rage 2 gameplay trailer shows off 10-minutes of gameplay filled with guns, explosions and blood, so much blood. As can be expected from developers Avalanche Studios and id Software, the combat is fast-paced and seems to focus on not standing still for too long, at least if you want to survive.
Apart from the over-the-top combat, we are also treated to some hauntingly, and surprisingly colourful post-apocalyptic environments. It seems that colourful neon-drenched post-apocalyptic worlds are all the rage right now. It’s apparent from the short gameplay trailer that the game oozes loads of weird and wonderful charm.
Along with the Mad Max-styled vehicles, players will also be able to take to the air thanks to what appears to be a hoverbike/aircraft of some kind.
Those who are worried that they would be lost if they haven’t played the original, which released back in 2010, don’t fear as the developers have stated multiple times that you don’t need to have played the original game to enjoy its sequel. So there is no excuse not to give this bloody, fast-paced shooter a go when it releases.
