EA has released a new trailer for their upcoming Need for Speed Heat, and it’s a neon feast for the eyes.
The Need for Speed Heat launch trailer showcases the fictional city called Palm City, which is inspired by Miami, Florida.
The game will allow up to 32 players to race for cash during the day through sanctioned events and at night earn street cred and heat by taking part in illicit street races alongside their crews.
Of course, the police won’t just sit back and let you take part in these illegal races and will hunt you down, similar to the Need for Speed Most Wanted games.
Heat will also give players more incentive to explore, letting them collect various graffiti tags and street art, which they can turn into custom car wraps. If you find all the collectables in a district, the game will reward you with customisation items.
On a whole, it feels like thr neon-filled Heat harkens back to the franchise’s glory days.
Players will also be able to customise their cars on their mobile devices using the NFS Heat Studio App.
