Sony is really making up for the delay of the first Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer by releasing an international trailer with different footage. In this version of the trailer, there are more reveals, footage of Peter flirting with MJ and a few more puzzle pieces that add to the mystery of the film.
The major difference between the two trailers of course is the opening sequence, which shows Peter Parker arriving at the airport, on his way to Europe, and checking in with his Uncle’s suitcase. There is a funny exchange when Peter realises that May (Marisa Tomei), who found out about his secret identity at the end of Homecoming, has snuck his Spider-Man suit into his luggage.
“Peter Parker returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home, the next chapter of the Spider-Man: Homecoming series! Our friendly neighbourhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent!”
The first trailer for Jon Watts’ sequel, released 17 hours ago, has already had 13 million views. Fan reaction has been very positive.
