While many had hoped that we would see some new gameplay for Insomniac’s upcoming Spider-Man game at PSX 2017, we were instead treated to some behind the scenes footage in a new trailer.

Insomniac's Spider-Man Game Gets A Behind The Scenes Trailer

The behind-the-scenes Spider-Man game trailer takes a look at the importance of Peter Parker and Spider-Man as the game’s writers, Christos Gage and Dan Slott, discuss the character. They also reveal that Peter Parker finds himself in a bit of a conundrum as he discovers who the game’s antagonist, Mr Negative, really is.

Judging by what we’ve seen so far, it seems Insomniac’s Spider-Man game is shaping up to be something special and, judging by the respectful manner in which they are treating the source material, it looks like the game might do justice to everybody’s favourite neighbourhood webhead.
