Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment along with NetherRealm has released a new trailer for Injustice 2 showing the Flash facing off against his old nemesis Gorilla Grodd.
The new trailer has the Flash showing off some of his moves as he quickly punches his way to victory without Grodd really knowing what hit him. Of course, being a bit of a show-off, the Flash gets to beat Grodd up in different eras, including knocking the nose off the famous Spinx and getting a really big T-Rex involved in the battle.
What has us even more interested in the Flash this time around is that he has now switched allegiances in Injustice 2 and is fighting alongside those he helped prosecute as part of Superman’s Regime. So the question is does his new team trust him?
Injustice 2 takes the same brutal and fun action from the first game and adds not only some new characters into the mix but new mechanics as well. Most notable of these is the new Gear System which sees players being rewarded with gear pieces after each battle. These gear pieces alter specific stats of the character that has equipped them, these range from damage output to health boosts.
The game is set for release on the 16th of May for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
