Deadpool is back in the latest teaser trailer for the highly anticipated Deadpool 2 and this time he’s spoofing painter Bob Ross.
The Deadpool 2 teaser sees the titular red-clad anti-hero sporting a curly wig and donning the familiar white shirt and pair of blue jeans that Bob Ross wore in his The Joy of Painting TV series. In classic Deadpool fashion, we are taken through the art of painting from hilariously named colours to quips about how much he loves cocaine. Finally, the trailer ends with a really quick montage of clips from the upcoming movie which includes Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Zazie Beetz as Domino and a few other familiar faces.
Fox also released a synopsis of the film:
After surviving a near-fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfil his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.
The first Deadpool movie has become the highest grossing R-Rated movie of all time and easily surpassed the worldwide gross for X-Men: Days of Future Past, making it the highest earning X-Men movie ever.
Deadpool 2 is set to release in June 2018 and it seems set on being even more over-the-top than it’s predecessor.
