If you ever wanted to be a ninja-cyborg that can slow down time and parkour across levels then Ghostrunner might be the game for you.
The game puts you in the shoes of a ninja-cyborg. Your weapon of choice is a very sharp looking laser sword katana, which you can use to cut your foes in half.
Along with your laser sword, you will be able to slow down time, grapple using an electro grappling device and run and jump across various cyberpunk-inspired levels.
The game takes place in a future where humanity has retreated into a great tower city. Built by the mysterious Architect and ruled over by the Keymaster, who, with the help of implants, pre-determines each inhabitant’s place in society. Of course, as one might guess, this leads to a rebellion.
It is not clear if you are working on your own or part of the rebellion. What is clear from the gameplay demo is that you will be dining loads of slicing, dicing and jumping.
A demo of the game has been released on Steam for a limited time and shows the gory, bloody and stylish first-person game in action.
The Ghostrunner demo is only available until the 13th of May, with the game releasing on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year.
