One of the best Ghostbusters games to date is a little gem that released back in 2009 called Ghostbusters: The Video Game. Now, a new trailer has revealed that the game is being remastered, and we can’t be happier.
The trailer for the Ghostbusters: The Video Game remastered, which is being developed by Saber Interactive, shows off the game in all its newly remastered glory.
What makes the game so great, beyond how true it stays to the source material, is the fact that both Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, who wrote the original movies, were involved in the development. And to be honest, it shows. Ghostbusters: The Video Game had a certain authenticity to it that many previous games based on the property lacked.
For those who missed the game the first time around, it sees the player taking on the role of a new member of the team who has to work beside the original members in order to save the world.
Ghostbusters: The Video Game remastered is set to release on the PlayStation 4 later this year, and we can’t wait.
