Director Patty Jenkins tweeted a picture of a new golden costume, most probably her Golden Eagle armour from the comics, for Wonder Woman 2, aka Wonder Woman 1984, ahead of this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. The updated look has been rumoured for quite some time, with many hoping to see her donning the full-length eagle wings too.
By now you’ve heard: WB isn’t going to Hall H this year. We’re so sad to miss you there! And waiting until Dec. to start our official #WW84 campaign in full– But the truth is… we can just… barely… wait… pic.twitter.com/QllFzhYRA6

The new image surely is a feast for the eyes. It features actress Gal Gadot, in shiny gold and metal, on a background of jagged smears of colour in the shape of film’s emblematic initial. It looks really great.
With Wonder Woman proving a bigger critical and commercial success than anyone predicted, it’s no surprise that Warner is putting a lot of effort into marketing the sequel.
The new film will take place in the ’80s, where Wonder Woman will face off against one of her iconic adversaries, Cheetah (Kristen Wiig).
Everything we’ve seen from the film looks great so far. All we need now is an image of that legendary invisible jet.
