EA has released the first gameplay trailer for FIFA 20, which showcases some of the game’s awesome new features.
The FIFA 20 trailer gives us a rundown of the changes that will be coming to the next entry in the long-running series. These changes include how set-pieces will work, controlled dribbling, composed finishing and strafe dribbling among others.
Visually, the game doesn’t seem to have changed much and, as one would expect from a series that has been releasing annually for years, the latest game seems to focus more on refining many of the existing mechanics.
Elements such as ball physics will be updated to make the ball movements feel more realistic. This will, of course, include more realistic spins and bounces.
Overall, it seems EA is aiming to make the game even more realistic than previous entries by focusing on some of the smaller and sometimes overlooked aspects of the game.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that EA lost the rights to Juventus, who signed an exclusive deal for Konami’s PES 2020. EA Sports claimed the UEFA rights in FIFA 19, which means that Euro 2020 could feature in the game alongside Champions League, Europa League and UEFA Super Cup too.
It will also be interesting to see how the developer will replace the official story mode, The Journey: Champions, now that Alex Hunter’s journey has come to an end.
FIFA 20 is set to release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on the 27th of September 2019.
