007: Road To A Million is a Bond-themed reality show that sees nine pairs of everyday people take on a series of James Bond-inspired challenges under the scrutinizing gaze of ‘The Controller’ (Brian Cox). The reality show can be compared to a mix of previous reality shows such as The Amazing Race and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
The nine pairs of challengers are tasked with globetrotting and jet-setting worldwide and completing physical challenges and head-scratching trivia questions they must answer to proceed to the next challenge.

Brian Cox acts as a Bond-style villain who sets the game’s rules, hiding in a bunker and monitoring each team from afar as he tells them where they must go next, what challenges they must perform, and what questions they must try to answer. The winning team will receive 1 million pounds in cash.
These nine pairs of sisters, brothers, friends, couples, a father and son travel to places in various James Bond films, like the Scottish Highlands, which featured in Skyfall, Italy, Spain and the Swiss Alps. The participants also head across the oceans to Jamaica and Brazil, where certain scenes in Moonraker were shot. Here, the contestants face daunting challenges in the jungle. While they then headed over to the Atacama Desert, which served as a location for Quantum of Solace.
