Team 17 have released a new trailer and announced the release date for their upcoming game The Escapists 2.
The Escapists 2 will be releasing on the 22nd of August and anyone that pre-orders the game will receive something special extra. The game has players planning and executing their escape from various prisons. It will take all of you smarts to outwit and out think the prison guards. Players will be able to play each prison solo or multiplayer (both local or online) with the game featuring a new drop-in, drop-out multiplayer experience. There will be new ways to escape, fight and customise your prisoner.

The Escapists 2 is set for release for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in August 2017, with a Nintendo Switch version following soon after. Those that pre-order the game will receive access to an additional prison named The Glorius Regime.
