Watch the first trailer below for Disney’s new animated movie, Moana, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Set in the South Pacific, Moana follows the story of a young woman uses her navigational talents to set sail for a fabled island. Joining her on the adventure is her hero, the legendary demi-god Maui (he is sorta like the Pacific version of Hercules and Prometheus). The pair come across a series of obstacles along the way, including sea creatures, underworlds, and ancient lore.
The film is being directed as the first primarily computer-animated film from Ron Clements and John Musker. It is slated to be released Nov. 23, 2016.
