Disney XD has released a four-minute short for the upcoming Marvel’s Spider-Man animated series. The clip retells the wall-crawler’s origins.
The clip is a flashback to when Peter first got his powers – after being bitten by a spider at Oscorp Industries. The clip also introduces Harry Osborn, Liz Allan, Mr. Smythe and his son Alister.
Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man might have come to an end in January, but this new series is hoping to kickstart a new Spidey animated franchise everyone will love. The clip shows that this version of Spider-Man seems to be based on Tom Holland’s current portrayal of the character.
Peter Parker is on a field trip to Oscorp when he accidentally gets bitten by a radioactive spider.
Marvel’s Spider-Man will premiere July 24th Disney XD.
