Eidos Montreal has announced an arcade like mode for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided called Breach.
This mode puts a new spin on the gameplay mechanics that players have become used to in the Deus Ex games. In this mode, players are tasked with acquiring classified data and then selling it. In order to get their hands on the classified data, players need to infiltrate secure corporate servers. Players will also be able to challenge their friends from around the world to beat their scores.
David Anfossi, head of studio at Eidos-Montreal. explained that,
“We are introducing a brand new game mode to Deus Ex. In addition to being a new visual approach for the players, the Breach mode broadens the lore of the Deus Ex universe. Breach also reinforces Deus Ex: Mankind Divided’s gameplay experience with a totally different setting.”
As with most recent games,the new mode will also include microtransactions in the form of boosters, although it was stated that players would be able to play the game without ever having to spend any money.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be launching in August 2016, Breach mode will be available at the game’s launch.
