Developer Digital Continue has announced that their upcoming game Next Up Hero would be heading to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, Mac and Linux in early 2018.
Next Up Hero has quite a unique premise as players take control of a single hero with an assortment of weapons and abilities to suit their playstyle. Once that hero dies in combat they become an Echo which is fancy talk for an A.I controlled ghost. This ghost is able to bolster your next hero’s attacks on the battlefield, helping you dispatch particularly deadly foes. The more you die the larger your ghost army becomes and deadly you are.
It’s a game all about defeating the odds by all means possible, and not even death can stop you.
