It seems 20th Century Fox is doing something Warner Bros. wouldn’t do; listening to fan requests. It seems the studio is delivering a special extended cut of Deadpool 2 soon, with the premiere taking place at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con later this month. While it hasn’t been announced as yet, we suspect this version will also be heading to disc later in the year.
Wade Wilson will be hitting San Diego Comic-Con hard this year. That’s right there will be a Hall H presentation that will include a Deadpool 2: Uncut screening, which will include new and never been seen before footage.
Earlier this year, director David Leitch confirmed that an extended cut of Deadpool 2 was coming. Of course, this isn’t the first X-Men movie to get an extended cut premiere at Comic-Con either. Fox also brought the X-Men: Days of Future Past Rogue Cut to the convention back in 2014. This also proved to be a big hit with fans.
Deadpool 2: Uncut is confirmed to include a suicide montage featuring Wade Wilson. Unfortunately, not much more has been revealed beyond that.
With that said, it would be great if Warner and DC did the same for Justice League.
