Fans of difficult games can rejoice as Bandai Namco revealed that the Dark Souls Trilogy will be heading to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The publisher announced that the Dark Souls Trilogy will be releasing on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in October of this year. Now, for those who don’t know what all the fuss is about (seriously, have you been living under a rock?), Dark Souls games have become renowned for their absolutely crazy difficulty, which is also strangely rewarding. It’s a trilogy of games that have made gamers cry and rejoice within seconds of each other and have broken all but the hardiest of players. The package will include Dark Souls: Remastered, Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin and Dark Souls III: The Fire Fades Edition which basically boils down to all three games and their previously released DLC. For those who have yet to experience the absolute highs and lows of playing one of these brilliant games, there has never been a better time to jump aboard the Dark Souls bandwagon (of doom).
Software, the developer behind the Souls games, is currently working on their new title called Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, which from what has been shown so far promises to combine and build upon everything we love from the developer’s previous games.
We can’t wait to experience the bliss of once again of dying over and over and over again in Dark Souls Trilogy.
