Paramount Pictures has released the first trailer for the sequel to 2015 smash hit comedy starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg. Daddy’s Home 2 ups the ante by including Mel Gibson and John Lithgow. As expected, they are genuinely hilarious!
Despite mixed review from critics, the first Daddy’s Home film was a hit at the box office, scoring $242 million worldwide. It only makes sense that the studio will attempt to continue the winning run by introducing a sequel. While many had their concerns about it being too similar to the first one, Gibson and Lithgow add a new dynamic to the comedy.
Daddy’s Home 2 also sees the return of Linda Cardellini, John Cena, and Alessandra Ambrosio.
