Ever since Rocksteady and WB Montreal, the team behind Batman Arkham Origins, announced that they were working on projects, rumours pertaining to what exactly these new games could be have been flooding the internet. Recently leaked images could suggest that at some point WB Montreal might have been working on a Superman or Suicide Squad game.
One of the leaked images has the Man of Steel flying through what we assume is Metropolis. Another is concept sketches for Harley Quinn and the last features a woman who looks like Amanda Waller standing next to a character many have guessed could be Deadshot.
The artworks were posted online by Twitter user @tatlinsky, who mentions that they found it on Joel Dos Reis Viegas’ personal website.

Of course, Joel was part of the team that worked on the costumes for the Batman: Arkham Knight DLC. Whether these concepts were for the rumoured cancelled Superman and Suicide Squad games are yet to be confirmed.
It is also important to note that, although it might appear that both these games have been cancelled, it has been heavily rumoured and teased that WB Montreal is working on a brand new Batman project that is heavily inspired by the Court of Owls storyline.
There are those that have suggested that the new game could be used by the studio to kick off a whole slew of new DC games. As with all rumours, these leaks and murmurings from the web should be taken with a grain of salt.
That said, the more we hear the more we are beginning to suspect that a Superman game might be releasing in the near future. Hopefully, this could be the mysterious project Rocksteady is working on.
