Many fans have been speculating on whether Rocksteady is currently working on a new Batman game. Well, if some new leaked concept art is to be believed, it seems there was a plan to develop a game starring Damian Wayne as the Dark Knight that got cancelled not too long ago.
The leaked concept art comes via 4chan and claims to be from a cancelled Batman game developed by WB Games Montreal, the team behind the criminally underrated Batman Arkham Origins. It features unique versions of some of Batman’s toughest rogues, including Two-Face, Gorilla Grodd, White Rabbit, Black Mask, and Poison Ivy. There is also an image of Dick Grayson (who looks remarkably like Fast and The Furious‘ Paul Walker), aka Nightwing.
YouTuber Slcmof also commented on Twitter that they were shown the artwork for the unreleased game by an inside source a couple of years ago.
Check out these images from the cancelled DC Batman Arkham game starring Damian Wayne. This game was most likely a Batman Arkham Knight sequel, but we cannot know for sure. Those of you that have followed the channel for a while recall me describing some of these. pic.twitter.com/mUQ6TXbUmq

The leaker commented that the game took place in the future where a much older Bruce Wayne had handed the cowl over to Damian.
Sadly, there isn’t any concept art featuring Damian Wayne, or even the Batman suit, although the environmental concept art does feature a mysterious figure on a motorcycle.
Why the game was cancelled isn’t known. What is known, however, is that WB is working on two new DC comics games.
We are still holding out hope for that Batman Beyond game we have always wanted.
