Developer Uppercut Games, a studio formed from people who worked on BioShock and BioShock 2, have released a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming game City of Brass.
City of Brass, although taking inspiration from the BioShock games, takes place in a much dryer environment filled with treasures, and of course sand (lots of it). The game combines first person parkour movements with sword and whip combat. Players will be able to manipulate their enemies using the whip, such as disarming them, making it easier to finish them off. The game will encourage players to experiment with the different combat mechanics, much in the same way that BioShock did.
And what would an Arabian Nights-inspired game be without a genie?
In the game, genies will allow players to purchase items or upgrade their character. You’ll need all the help you can get as each level will be procedurally generated ensuring that no two playthroughs will be the same.
