DICE has announced that the highly anticipated new map for Battlefield 1 Giant’s Shadow will be available for download on the 13th of December 2016.
The Giant’s Shadow map is set during the Battle of Selle in France. Players can expect fierce combat on open ground and river banks alongside the Cateau-Wassigny railway. They will also be able to try out the new Support class gadget, the awesome sounding, grenade crossbow. The map is part of a new game update for Battlefield one and will also include a new spectator mode. The new mode will allow Battlefield 1 players to join a live Battlefield 1 match as an observer. The update also brings a new custom game option called Standard Issue Rifles which grants all classes access to their faction’s standard issue rifle only.
