Humble apologies for all the confusion caused regarding the Ultimate edition of Batman vs Superman. The steelbook is the only version that has the ultimate edition within it and was offered exclusively to TakeaLot who only ordered in 150 units as a pre order incentive and are now all sold out. There, unfortunately, is no more stock available and it is cost-prohibitive for us to order in any additional stock.
While there are other options (if you are willing to pay slightly more – around R450) – Raru and Loot – most fans will feel bitterly disappointed by the news.
Even if you didn’t like the theatrical version of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, chances are that you’re a little interested in seeing the extra 30 minutes of footage offered on the Batman v Superman: Ultimate Edition (181 minutes running time) on Blu-ray.
The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition arrived internationally on the 19th July and features an extended R-rated cut of the film.
Basically, in short, the Batman v Superman Ultimate Edition is a better film. Read our review.
The theatrical version (with the 151 minutes running time) of the film is available on DVD Pack for R149.99-R159.99 RRP, Blu-ray 2D for R199.99 RRP, Blu-ray 3D for R299.99, Batman v Superman / Man of Steel Box sets on DVD or Blu-ray and Batman v Superman Steel books (Box sets and steel books available at selected DVD stores).

I preordered with Takealot and they cancelled my order telling me they couldn’t fulfil it.
Wow hectic. Have you tried Musica? They had a few
I got mine from musica for about R350. But alas its way better movie with extra 30 min.
Eish I guess I was one of the lucky ones to get the steelbook from Takealot. Still sucks that we are getting the short end of the stick.
Those who got the R249 copies from Takealot certainly lucked out.
Importing in this case is going to cost much more than getting it from Raru and Loot. Ordering it from Amazon will set you back R580 (including shipping and customs) at current exchange rates.
Wow. That is a lot more. Thanks for the update :)
