After months of speculation and rumors, Warner Bros. has announced that the Batman: Return to Arkham Remastered Collection will be releasing in July 2016.
Warner Bros. confirmed that the collection would include Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, along with all the DLC released for both games. At this stage, the Batman: Return To Arkham Remastered Collection has only been announced for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as no PC released date has been revealed.
Porting of the games will be handled by porting studio Virtuos, who previously remastered Final Fantasy X and Heavy Rain. Virtuos will be moving both games to the Unreal 4 engine, which is a first for the series as even Batman: Arkham Knight was an Unreal Engine 3 game.
Below is a trailer for Batman: Return To Arkham Remastered Collection that shows some of the improved graphics, models, environments and lighting that the upgraded games will feature.
