Netflix and Hasbro released the first trailer for their upcoming three-part arc Transformers anime series, Transformers: War For Cybertron Trilogy: Siege.
In the midst of ongoing war on Cybertron, forces of good and evil clash as they search for the source of their power: the Allspark. This may not be the life they imagined, but it’s a life worth fighting for.
The first in the trilogy, Siege, will consist of just 6 episodes, running 22 minutes each and takes us to the closing hours of the Autobot-Decepticon civil war. Of course, Megatron is on the hunt for the Allspark — the source of all life and power on Cybertron — and it’s up to Optimus Prime to stop him, again.
F.J. DeSanto serves as showrunner on the series.
The voice cast includes Jake Foushee (Optimus Prime), Jason Marnocha (Megatron), Linsay Rousseau (Elita-1), Joe Zieja (Bumblebee), Frank Todaro (Starscream), Rafael Goldstein (Ratchet), Keith Silverstein (Jetfire), Todd Haberkorn (Shockwave, Red Alert), Edward Bosco (Ultra Magnus, Soundwave), Bill Rogers (Wheeljack), Sophia Isabella (Arcee), Brook Chalmers (Impactor), Shawn Hawkins (Mirage), Kaiser Johnson (Ironhide), Miles Luna (Teletraan I, Cliffjumper), and Mark Whitten (Sideswipe, Skywarp).
There’s still no specific date for Transformers: War For Cybertron Trilogy: Siege‘s debut later this year.
