Fox gives us a behind the scenes look at Michael Fassbender as Spanish Assassin Aguilar de Nerha. In a new clip, titled Leap of Faith, we get to see the Assassin’s Creed stuntman, Damien Walters, achieve a record-breaking fall in order to keep the director’s vision of making a film grounded in reality.
Director Kurzel is trying to avoid CGI where possible, in an effort to make Assassin’s Creed more realistic. Watch as a stuntman takes a leap of faith and jumps from 125 feet in the air.
Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.
ASSASSIN’S CREED is set for a December 21, 2016 release.
