Another important Aquaman role has been filled with Power Rangers star Ludi Lin joining as Murk.
James Wan’s Aquaman is shaping up with an amazing cast. Power Rangers‘ Ludi Lin joins a cast that also includes Jason Momoa as the title character, Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as the villain Black Manta, Temuera Morrison as Bob Curry and Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus.
Created by Geoff Johns and Paul Pelletier, Murk is a relatively new character that debuted in 2013’s Aquaman #7 as the leader of the Atlantis army known as the Men-of-War, the first line of defence for the city. In the DC Comics, Murk disobeyed the Atlantean law and showed his loyalty to Orm the Ocean Master. While Black Manta will be the main antagonist of Aquaman, Patrick Wilson’s Ocean Master will likely be set up as a future villain.
