Apple South Africa yesterday announced the start of pre-orders for the Apple Watch Series 4, following the announcements made last week for the launch of the new smartwatches and iPhones. Today, the team has announced that pre-orders for the latest iPhone smartphones will also open for pre-order today.
Pre-orders have officially opened for the most advanced iPhones ever, the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max, which will be available in stores from 28 September 2018. The units will be available in 64GB, 256GB and 512GB variants, both on a monthly contract or cash price. The monthly contract terms, in partnership with FNB Credit Card, run over a 37 month period, and also offers 40% trade-in value after 24 months.

You can review the list of features on both devices via the announcement post. Pre-orders will be available online via the iStore site, with buyers reserving their purchase in queue to start being fulfilled in next week. Apple will also include Free iCare Plus, an exclusive to iStore, to all customers. This covers a 2-year extended warranty, which includes one Apple Certified screen repair, that normally sells for R1,999. To qualify for the free service, you need to redeem the voucher online, when upgrading a contract or purchase any new iPhone at iStore (iPhone 8 and newer) between now and 31 December 2018.
