BioWare released a new trailer for their upcoming online multiplayer game, Anthem, that revealed more about the game’s narrative.
The Anthem trailer released during The Game Awards gives us a look at some of the game’s NPCs and, more importantly, the game’s main antagonist who is simply known as the Monitor. From what BioWare has revealed, he is the leader of an organisation called the Dominion which payers will be facing off against. You (and your friends) form part of a group called the Freelancers tasked with stopping bad things from happening and basically making sure all hell doesn’t break loose.
Most of the game’s story will unfold during the no-combat sections, which will take place around the game’s hub area, called Fort Tarsis. BioWare wants fans to know that even though this is a multiplayer-focused game there will still be aspects for those who want to go it alone to enjoy.
It was also revealed that Anthem will be getting two demos, one that will become available from the 25th till the 27th of January 2019 for those that pre-order the game and then a second demo will become available from the 1st to the 3rd of February 2019.
Anthem is set for release on the 22nd of February 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
