Following the launch of the FUTURECRAFT technology a few years back, adidas has constructed an updated version of the technology. Featured below is the teaser of the upcoming adidas Alphaedge 4D.
The Forgefiber mesh upper with adidas Primeknit textile materials sit atop the 4D midsole with TPU overlays at stress points to provide the ultimate footwear for stability, comfort, and traction in both wet and dry conditions, as provided by the Continental rubber outsole. The futuristic running shoes were design-guided by years of athlete data.
As with the previous releases of the 4D technology, the Alphaedge has a geometric lattice structure, which offers enhanced stability, support and cushioning, all at the same time. The Forgefiber mesh provides a lightweight construction with breathable pockets while giving wearers a socklike fit.
The 4D midsole is created from a 3D-printed manufacturing process using Carbon Digital Light Synthesis technology.
The adidas Alphaedge 4D is due for South African release within the coming weeks, with the shoes already released in the US.
